Gateway Technical College is one of 16 technical colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System. Gateway is a leader in providing technical education, training and technological resources to ensure economic growth and viability in Southeastern Wisconsin.
As part of the Gateway’s sustainability initiatives built around policies, energy management, instruction/curriculum, facilities design and recycling, the college installed a 2.82-kW dual-axis solar tracker outside of its Horizon Center for Green Technology. Tracker production is shown on a flat-screen monitor in the Horizon Center where students can view daily kilowatt-hours.
