You can help others with their energy bills two ways:
Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund
The fund is a statewide, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping families, seniors and others with limited resources pay their energy bills. Making a contribution is easy. You can make a one-time or monthly contribution. If you choose the monthly option, your contribution appears monthly on your bill until you end participation. If you choose the one-time option, your contribution appears on your next bill.
Gift of Energy
Give someone the Gift of Energy by pre-paying a portion of their energy bill — a practical and convenient gift for any occasion. Print and complete the Gift of Energy form, and then mail it to us along with your payment. We will send a personalized acknowledgement card to you, or mail it directly to your designated recipient, if you prefer. The recipient’s We Energies account is credited for the gift amount. To ensure that your gift arrives on time, please allow time for us to receive your request through the mail and send your acknowledgement card.
Note: You need to indicate a recipient to give a Gift of Energy. If you would prefer to contribute to a general fund to help low-income individuals pay their heating bills, consider a Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund donation.
