Helping others

You can help others with their energy bills two ways:

Gift of Energy

Give the Gift of Energy by paying a portion of someone's energy bill — a practical and convenient gift for any occasion. Use your credit or debit card to buy a gift card, which can be mailed to you or the recipient. Fees apply:

  • Personalized: $3.95 for processing, mailing and adding your own message and photo.

Note: Faster delivery options are available at additional cost.

Note: You are being redirected to a third-party website that provides the Gift of Energy service on behalf of We Energies.

Note: If you prefer to contribute to a general fund to help low-income individuals pay their heating bills, consider a Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund donation (see below).

Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund

The fund is a statewide, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping families, seniors and others with limited resources pay their energy bills. Making a contribution is easy. You can make a one-time or monthly contribution. If you choose the monthly option, your contribution appears monthly on your bill until you end participation. If you choose the one-time option, your contribution appears on your next bill.

Using Gift of Energy

Recipients call 800-878-3843 to redeem the gift, which is valid only for their own We Energies bills. The full value of the gift must be redeemed on a single account. Recipients should not mail the gift card with a We Energies bill nor attempt to use it at a payment location.
