Our pilot program offers the ability to obtain a Level 2 charger, which is the Enel X Juicebox 40 plug-in.
Costs
There are two payment options for the Level 2 charger in our pilot program. If choosing the Prepay payment option, the total prepaid cost will be due upfront and you will begin paying for the monthly program fee after the charger is installed. Under the Bundled payment option, nothing is due upfront and you begin paying the higher monthly program fee after the charger is installed.
The Charger-Only (COEV-R) program prices will apply to customers who are currently on our standard residential or farm rates (Rg-1 or Fg-1). The Whole-Home (WHEV-R) program prices will apply to customers who are currently on our existing two-part Time-of-Use rate (Rg2).

Electrical upgrades
The cost for additional circuit wiring or panel upgrades will vary. Any costs incurred to make your home ready to install and run the EV charger (e.g., upgrades to existing electrical panel, wiring, outlet install) are your responsibility and separate from the above charger costs.
Our installation vendor can help you understand the actual costs of any additional work unique to your home.
Use the electrical upgrade cost estimator
for a preliminary estimate. A site visit may also be needed to verify estimate and provide a firm quote.
To complete any additional electrical work, you can use our vendor and pay them directly or choose another electrician.
