Level 3 time-of-use

Level 3 may be best for you if:

  • You already are a good candidate for Level 2.
  • You use electric heat or have other electricity uses that are greater in winter.
  • You are willing to limit air conditioning and pool heater use during weekdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Time periods and prices

Off-Peak

8 p.m. to 8 a.m. weekdays
All day on weekends and selected holidays
Cost: 5 cents/kWh all year

Mid-Peak

8 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays
Cost: 19 cents/kWh Oct. 1 to May 31
         25 cents/kWh June 1 to Sept. 30

On-Peak

2 p.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays
Cost: 25 cents/kWh Oct. 1 to May 31
         29 cents/kWh June 1 to Sept. 30

Note: Standard residential price plan customers pay an energy charge of 12 cents/kWh all the time. Prices are rounded to the nearest 1 cent. Other charges and/or credits may apply.
