There's so much to do!

Visit Energy Park at Wisconsin State Fair, Aug. 4-14, for free family fun. Our daily lineup features performances, exhibits and demonstrations in a clean, relaxing park setting. Energy Park is on the west side of the fair grounds on Wetley Way at Center Street.
Daily 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Safety wristbands for children

Get a bright orange wristband that holds your child's identification and your cell phone number that State Fair Park police can use if your child gets lost at the fair.

Customer service

Get answers to questions about We Energies and Energy Park, and pick up program and service information.
Daily: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Safety stories

Watch safety demonstrations of skills and precautions used by our employees. Meet our electric, natural gas and forestry workers, ask questions, get a kid's plastic hard hat and learn to stay safe around electricity and natural gas.
Daily: 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 5 p.m.

Interactive exhibits

Learn how energy is generated and delivered to your home and business. Explore the role forestry plays in keeping your home naturally cooler and providing reliable energy. View tools and equipment used by employees to install and maintain power. Learn about mercaptan and the appropriate steps to take if you smell a natural gas leak.

Melinda Myers

Visit our garden area and listen to horticulture expert Melinda Myers discuss beautiful solutions for your landscape challenges. Learn about the Energy Park garden makeovers and how you can renew life and beauty to your own landscape while reducing environmental impact.

Green and growing kids activities

Learn about gardening as an activity to do with your kids and meet Melinda Myers who teaches kids about growing plants, building a wattle fence, using a worm composter and participating in our green thumb scavenger hunt.

Garden makeovers

See many flower, plant and tree species, and how our rain garden uses rainwater that soaks into the ground. Our rain chain guides roof water to the ground and adds beauty to a landscape. Our green roof bird feeder is a great family project.

Solar car race or foam pig race

Join us for the fastest race at the fair as sun-powered cars zoom down the track. Not enough sun? No problem. Using compressed air, foam pigs fly over the track. You gotta see it to believe it!

Cooking safely with Chef Mark Olson

Watch our chef cook, bake and grill tasty and easy recipes. A complimentary Sensational Servings recipe book is distributed at each presentation along with samples.

Schlitz Audubon Nature Center - Sky Hunters Birds of Prey

See feathered friends up close and learn about their habits, habitats and history from Schlitz Audubon Nature Center experts. Watch for impromptu bird sightings in Energy Park and ask questions.

Focus on Energy

Stop by the Focus on Energy exhibit for hands-on demonstrations and advice on saving energy in your home or business and using renewable energy.

Energy Game show, co-sponsored by Focus on Energy

Spin the Energy Game wheel to test your knowledge about prices, safety, renewable energy, energy efficiency and home facts for a chance to win a prize.

Farm customers can get information on our farm electric rewiring and rebate programs.

Peregrine falcon nesting box

Learn why we installed nesting boxes on many of our power plant chimneys and why we enjoy having these remarkable birds at our plants. See an actual nesting box and falcon artifacts, try on bird banding equipment and learn falcon facts.
