PA Consulting, the energy industry's largest management consulting firm, selects utilities to receive this award based on several factors, including frequency and duration of power outages as well as number of customers impacted by outages. Each utility awarded this honor is certified through an independent review of the policies, processes and systems used to collect, analyze and report on these factors.

Pricing

As of Dec. 31, 2009, the national average retail electric price for residential, commercial and industrial customers combined was 9.89 cents per kilowatt-hour, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Our price was 9.52 cents per kilowatt-hour.
