Seasonal customer care consultants and telecollectors deliver excellent customer service on every call to every We Energies customer. Good attendance, productivity and ability to maintain confidential account information is the key to success. These positions are union represented.
Customer consultants are responsible for delivering superior customer service to our customers – ensuring every customer is a satisfied customer. Duties include identifying needs and providing energy-related solutions, handling various gas/electric emergencies, handling bill inquiries, service calls and outage reports, cross selling products/services and data entry. This position is located at our Pewaukee Customer Care Center.
Telecollectors are responsible for interacting with delinquent account holders, effecting solutions to collect past due amounts, negotiating payment arrangements, issuing reconnection orders, making follow-up calls, educating customers on the collection process, counseling customers on how to conserve energy and reduce the amount of their energy bill and maintaining account information. This position is located at our Downtown Milwaukee Customer Care Center.
Hours/Shift: Hours vary. Your schedule must be flexible to accommodate any shift between 6a.m. and midnight for seven days a week.
Typical season: February through December.
Training: New employees receive comprehensive training to prepare them for their role in our customer care center. Training consists of instructor lead classroom training, eLearning modules, situational role playing as well as mentoring with peers in live call handling situations. Training topics cover everything from the technical aspects of handling customer calls, to soft-skill training that emphasizes demonstrating care and concern for the caller.
