Flexible spending accounts
Employees may set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified health care and dependent care expenses. New employees are eligible after 31 days of employment.
Flexible working hours
Flexible schedules are available in some departments. Details are worked out with individual supervisors.
These holidays are observed each year: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.
Employees may enroll in a plan that includes the option of using networks of physicians, hospitals and other health care providers at reduced prices.
Personal computer purchase plan
Employees may apply for a two-year, interest-free loan to purchase up to $1,000 worth of computer equipment and software.
Paid time off
Each year, employees are awarded a number of vacation days based on holidays, years of service and union guidelines. Paid time off also may be available for jury duty and non-active military duty.
Employees' retirement benefits include a pension and 401(k) savings plan. Employees may contribute up to 75 percent of their income to their 401(k) on a pre-tax, post-tax and/or Roth 401(k) basis. The company matches a portion of eligible employee contributions. Employee contributions are vested immediately, but company matching contributions are vested after one year of employment.
Tuition refund program
Reimbursement is available for college courses (including technical/vocational colleges) in degree programs that are part of an employee’s current position or reasonable promotional opportunity within the company. Eligible courses will be reimbursed at 100 percent, up to $2,650 per calendar year for employees who receive an A, B, C or a “pass” in a pass/fail course.
Variable incentive pay plan
Depending on company, department, team and individual performance, eligible management employees may receive an annual payout of up to 10 percent of their salary.
