We are generating more energy from renewable resources. We use wind, solar and biomass to meet customer demand and the state of Wisconsin’s Renewable Portfolio Standard.
In 2012, we purchased the Montfort Wind Energy Center from NextEra Energy Resources. The 20-turbine facility, built in 2001, is located near Montfort, Wisconsin, in Iowa County.
In 2011, the Glacier Hills Wind Park began operating 90 turbines in the towns of Randolph and Scott in Columbia County.

In 2008, the Blue Sky Green Field Wind Energy Center began operating 88 wind turbines in the towns of Marshfield and Calumet in northeast Fond du Lac County.
