Secondary demand

Customers have a choice of Cg2 Option A or Cg2 Option B. Charges for both are the same except for energy (kilowatt-hour) charges.

Option A charges the same price for on- and off-peak energy (kWh). Option B charges a lower price for off-peak energy and a higher price for on-peak energy.

Customers using 10,000 to 30,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per month for any three months within a 12-month period are assigned to Option B. Customers are metered and billed separately for demand and total energy used. Customers using less than 100,000 kWh in a year and exceeding 10,000 kWh in only one month may be removed from Cg2 prices.

Charges

Facilities Charge is a fixed service charge. $1.52877 per day for one meter (each additional meter is $0.13151 per day)

Energy Charge is for electricity used during the billing period.

Option A
$0.1007 per kWh

Option B
$0.08777 per kWh off-peak $0.11402 per kWh on-peak

Demand Charge is for your highest level of demand between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. weekdays during the billing period. $5.677 per kW

Demand charge is discounted in months when demand is used for shorter times during on-peak period. If on-peak use hours (on-peak energy use divided by highest on-peak demand) are less than 100, the on-peak demand charge of $5.677 is discounted by $0.03406 per kW for the difference between 100 and the on-peak hours used during the month.

$5.677 - [$0.03406 (100 - on-peak use hours)] = Discounted per kW Demand Charge

Credit for Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant sale is $0.00618.
