General secondary demand Time-of-Use (Cg3)


Overview

This rate is designed for customers using more than 30,000 kilowatt-hours per month for three consecutive months in a 12-month period.

Charges

In the General Secondary Demand Rate plan, you are charged for facilities, energy and demand.

The facilities charge is a fixed service charge.

  • One meter is $2.79452 per day (each additional meter is $0.13151 per day)

The energy charge is for total electricity used during the billing period.

Power supply charge:

  • On-peak $0.05354 per kWh
  • Off-peak $0.03921 per kWh

Delivery charge:

  • On-peak $0.01544 per kWh
  • Off-peak $0.01544 per kWh

On-peak demand charge (On Peak-Power Supply - all kW) is for your highest level of demand between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. weekdays during the billing period.

  • On-peak $11.955 per kW

Customer demand charge is for your highest level of demand for the entire billing period.

  • Customer demand $6.572 per kW

Note: Seasonal customers receive only six bills per year; therefore, facility and meter charges are doubled.
