If you replace less efficient equipment on a one-for-one basis with qualified energy-efficient technologies, you receive cash incentives. The predetermined incentives apply to many popular technologies, which makes it easy to participate.

Project approval is not required before installation for prescriptive incentive eligibility; however, projects must be implemented on or after Feb. 1, 2005, and application submittal is required within 30 days of project completion. There are no exceptions to predetermined incentive levels and identified technologies.

Projects that do not match technologies identified in the Prescriptive Incentive Program or are not one-for-one replacements are encouraged to consider the Custom Incentive Program.
